Research datasets

RizzStats holds one of the few datasets of real, user-donated dating app activity: swipe histories, match outcomes and usage patterns from voluntarily uploaded Tinder and Hinge exports. It has been used in academic research and data journalism on how people actually behave on dating apps — not how they say they do.

What a dataset looks like

JSONL — one pseudonymized profile per line, with daily usage series, match and messaging aggregates, and profile attributes. Identifiers are pseudonymous, birth dates are reduced in precision, and free-text fields are scrubbed for personal information (phone numbers, emails, names and addresses are replaced with redaction tokens).

Ethics

Every profile in the dataset was donated by its owner through an explicit upload. Users can delete their data at any time, and deletions propagate to future dataset builds. We do not sell individual-level raw exports.

Access

Datasets are licensed per project, with tiers from a small sample for exploratory work to full packages for peer-reviewed research. Contact us with a short description of your project and affiliation.
